For years we watched people around us build solid things that never travelled beyond their own circle. MUSIMA came out of that gap — and out of the moment we stopped waiting for someone else to deal with it.

We write down part of what comes up at the gatherings and around them. The intention is simple: someone who wasn’t there should be able to take something away.
These are pieces of writing, not press releases. We keep the hesitations and the contradictions in, because that is often where the useful part is.
